Ann Lewis – Recovery Coaching Specialist

Ann comes to coaching from an HR background, initially in healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing. She was later HR Director for well-known charities including Childline and the Peabody Trust.

She has worked with Investors in People, Cafcass, Friends of the Earth, Advance Housing and Support, Amnesty International, The Work Foundation (as an Associate coach on Metropolitan Police leadership programmes), The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Chartered Management Institute and the Independent Theatre Council.

In 2008 Ann published "Getting Back on Track – Regaining your Confidence and Presence at Work" a self-coaching guide for recovery from major work setbacks.

 

 

 

David Mackey – Sales Training Specialist

Working across a broad range of market sectors, David works as a business & learning consultant designing and facilitating programmes of business process and skill development. He trains, facilitates workshops and coaches in the areas of sales and customer account management, influencing, negotiation and project management.

After a successful sales career culminating in the role of Global Account Director, David enjoyed several corporate roles with the Unisys Corporation. These included international Director of Sales & Marketing Training and Marketing & Business Development Director for commercial customers in the Europe-Africa Division.

David is co-author of two Kogan Page books, 'Everything You Ever Needed to Know about Training' and 'Transforming Training' as well as articles on the CIPD web-site.

 

 

 

Liz Field – Talent Management Specialist

Liz works predominantly in the financial services sector, having built and run financial training consultancies in Insurance, Banking, Building Societies and Investments. Her work exposes her to a range of companies, both large and small, including blue chip and international organisations. Being a businesswoman and manager, she has a skill set that is particularly appreciated by fellow business executives.

Her most recent position was Head of Learning and Organisational Development for Gerrard (Barclays). She led the talent management integration project when the business was taken over by Barclays.

 

 

 

Tony Scott – Communications Specialist

Tony fixes communication problems: between departments, a business and its marketplace, head office and field, members of a management team, or within the confines of an individual mind. He ran part of a week-long British Council conference and wrote a report of their recommendations which won Prime Ministerial support (including Tony Blair's) at a Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

At Dell Computers, he's helped improve communications – spoken and written – for senior management across Europe. And, with a four-page paper, he fixed in six weeks a £1 million NHS funding row that had dragged on for more than a year.

 

 

 

Gareth Davies – Corporate Change Specialist

Gareth specialises in the management of corporate change affecting staff and customers. Applying strategy and business change to individuals, he maintains people orientation while driving either business developments or internal corporate restructuring.

Experienced in reorienting, motivating and developing multi-disciplinary teams, as a blue chip senior manager he introduced direct-to-customer techniques to a traditional intermediary supplier; and went on to roll out a customer-centric change programme across six European countries in Credit Suisse group.

Gareth is also a non-executive director of one of the country’s largest university hospitals, helping deliver the market-orientation required for transition to a more competitive NHS market.

 

 

 

John Williams – Employment Law Adviser

John has a wealth of experience in both strategic and organisational roles within the HR sector, with particular knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry. He possesses a strong track record of team building and success in the integration of organisations at times of merger and acquisition.

His early career in HR started with managerial roles in G D Searle, where he subsequently became HR Director. He subsequently moved to Monsanto plc, at the time employing 1600 people in the UK as Head of HR Shared Services, and was later appointed HR Director for UK and Scandinavia. At the time of Monsanto's acquisition by Pharmacia John made significant contributions to the integration of the workforce before leaving to take up his current consultancy role.

John is a pragmatic interpreter of UK Employment Legislation with a strong track record in blending disparate teams and organisations. He is innovative in designing flexible benefits for organisations and was the first to do so within the pharmaceutical industry. He is credited with being highly effective in resolving internal disputes at Grievance/Dismissal stages and a sensitive investigator in disciplinary enquiries.

He is a lay member of the Employment Tribunal and currently County Commander for St John Ambulance in Buckinghamshire.

 

 

 

Jackie Carter – HR Consultant & Project Manager

Jackie has been a senior Human Resources professional for over 20 years and has extensive operational and project management experience across a wide range of organisations and sectors, gained in multi site, multi union organisations, including automotive, defence and security sectors and the not for profit sector.

Jackie is a highly skilled change agent with specific experience of managing internal reorganisations and restructuring, acquisition of subsidiary businesses, bringing organisations into group structures & managing transitional change, large scale TUPE programmes both from private sector and local government, transformation and efficiency projects, internal communication and consultation strategies and managing complex employee relations cases.

 

 

 

Katherine Everitt-Newton – Stress Specialist

Katherine comes to Coaching with a background in Business Process Improvement and Change Management. She has worked extensively in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services and infrastructure utilities both in the UK and abroad. Her consultancy background combined with her coaching skill set creates a unique and dynamic approach to change confidence. Katherine is open, friendly and her straight-talking style successfully integrates the two sides of the stress dilemma; controlling it whilst you are experiencing it and then eliminating the causes to minimise the impact on your life or work. Katherine is currently working on a book; "De-stress at Your Desk: 101 Tips & Techniques for Office Friendly Stress Relief".

 

 

 

John Stylianou – Learning & Development Specialist

John is a highly energetic and experienced Learning & Development Manager, qualified in a range of psychometric tools and has a passion for delivering learning & development solutions to the highest standards, and adding value to organisations. Originally qualifying as an accountant, and has worked for a major UK practice. John’s personal style is one of honest feedback, encouraging clients to be themselves, the generation of total trust and a sense of fun.

 

 

 

Lindy Sinclair – Training & Development Specialist

Lindy offers clients over 25 years of proven experience in the areas of Course Design and Delivery. Specialising in Leadership, Management, Team and behavioural solutions, she works closely with her clients to ensure that their particular goals are realised. With either group or one-to-one sessions, she is able to ensure that people have the opportunity to learn at their preferred pace and using a style that they feel comfortable with.

Multi-sector success includes organisations such as RBS, Allianz Insurance, British Airways, Hutchison 3G and Oil Spill Response Ltd. With satisfied global, multinational and SME clients Lindy really does understand that each client is unique.

 

 

 

Clive Wright – Compensation Specialist

With a track record as Group Compensations and Benefits Director at The BOC Group and as a Senior Consultant at Mercer, the world’s largest HR consultancy, Clive brings a wealth of knowledge to the compensation arena and has achieved huge success utilising reward to facilitate corporate success. He serves as Chair to the Reward Forum and is a visiting professor at London metropolitan University and Council Director of the European & Asian Compensation & Benefits Councils of The Conference Board.
